Hi, Does anyone know what the venue for this show is? We'll be driving down from Mpls and would love to meet up or drive anyone living near Kansas City who needs a ride!
I've searched quite a bit and can't find the venue. The group "The Killers" are scheduled for a show at the Capitol Federal Sandstone Ampitheater the same day. Please post if you find out anything.
I've also been looking for awhile and can't find anything. Since it's a Saturday in May, I would think either Crossroads or RiverMarket since they are both outside. But, I guess they could also do The Uptown...however none of those places have any info about it. I am super excited though...
Looks like they will be at the Crossroads. doesn't look like they're selling tickets yet. I'm in Lincoln Nebraska, if anyone needs a ride, and is along the way, I would happy to give a lift. Yay CAKE!!!!
The Crossroads website says all tickets available Feb 20th, however, you can buy general admission tickets now. I have already purchased mine. I think there is limited bleacher seating that goes on sale Feb 20th.
By chance is this the Matt Ward that used to play Creighton Ultimate? I'm guessing not but its worth a shot. Anyway me and and friend are in Omaha and have tickets for the KC show. So far we haven't found anyone with a car to go with us, but it's still pretty early. Could you keep us in mind as the time for rocking draws near? I'll let you know if we can snag a ride. Thanks!
I'm VERY interested to see Cake (long time fan, never had the opportunity to see them live), but I am car-less in McPherson KS (about 1hr north of Wichita). Any chance that someone from Wichita / Hutchinson / Newton / elsewhere south or west could pick me up en route? I'll happily chip in on gas!

Maybe someone can help me with this? My 9 year old daughter wants me to take her to the KC show at Crossroads. She's a big fan, but I'm not sure 9 is old enough. I appreciate your opinions on this.
Cake is an amazing band. I wish my mother would have taken me to see them when I was nine. There are a few profanities, but not much by comparison to other artists (If that's what your worried about) If you personally haven't heard them you should. Not just because they are a great band but because it will help you strengthen ties to your daughter.

i'm in saint peters. hitching rides if all else fails. not sure what day that means i need to leave. highway 70 right? i'll probably be on all those off ramps if that's the case. if you guys have room i could use help. i'd be willing to make some weird trades or whatever.
